Between early 2019 and late 2023, San Mateo County Superior Court tortured Nafiz and I by continuing my case over a dozen times. While some were for Covid court shutdowns, most were explained as the prosecution's witness had a vacation or otherwise failed to calendar it. Nafiz and I had- on most occasions- blocked off our calendars for a week, dry cleaned suits, traveled to the area, and showed up. This was at great expense to our time, productivity, and patience, and can only be explained as a tactic to bleed some plaintiffs dry financially, get them fired from their jobs, and grind them down. The minute we decided to switch lawyers and use Ahmed and Sukaram was the minute our case turned around for the better. Our original lawyer was not bad, and the decision to change wasn’t easy, but boy am I glad we did. We went from a plea deal of five months in prison with a felony charge to our case being completely dropped. Nafiz Ahmed has the confidence, expertise, and respect of the court needed to result in the best possible outcome. He’s personable, his response times are lightning fast (even after hours) and he has a way about him that put my husband and me at ease the moment we stepped foot in the courtroom. He showed up early to get us seen first every court date. With our original lawyer, we would have to wait a few hours for our turn, and with Nafiz we never spent more than 30 minutes at the courthouse. It’s obvious he has the respect of his colleagues, and that’s for a good reason. If you want the best possible outcome, hire them!

I was facing a very serious case that was untrue but the prosecutor and the court didn't know that. I was in custody and my court appointed lawyer didn't help me and I got remanded into jail at court and with no communication from my court-appointed lawyer. Fortunately, I was able to hire Nafiz Ahmed. He was able to get a bail hearing set right away and I was released from custody. The case took 5 months to finish. But all the serious charges were dismissed and I didn't have to serve any more jail time. When I met Nafiz I believed in him that he can help me but I was worried because my charges were so serious. They are great lawyers, very knowledgeable, and never take the judge's first response as a final answer.And made them rethink their words plenty of times. And they always gathered information from all sources, making a little by little a solid defense case. All this made the opposing lawyer admit there was no chance they could win against us. It took some time, but you have to trust their methods. When I had doubts about anything, they always replied the same day. No questions were considered dumb and I was always treated with respect and professionalism they also made me feel at ease when talking with them like we are for you till the end. And at no point I felt like they were selling out to the D.A. Or judge.

I recently contacted the Nafiz Ahmed law office to handle a case for me. I contacted 5 different lawyers, 2 never returned my call, 1 called me back 2 weeks later, and one was way over priced.Mr Ahmed contacted me back the same day, we discussed what I needed done and agreed on his fee.From the very start I was kept informed of what was happening and never felt like I didn't understand how it was progressing.In the end, my case was completed in a very short time and was 100% in my favor. I had the privilege of having Mr. Nafiz Ahmed as my attorney several years ago and I must say the outcome was very much appreciated and to the point that his passion and dedication with his line of work stood out from the rest. If I still remember his name from having him as my attorney over 10-12 years ago that speaks volumes on someone's character and work ethic. My father and mother where looking for a lawyer who couldd help them with a no license traffic violation. I looked on google and yelp and Mr. Ahmed office had the best reviews. So we gave him a shot and booked a meeting with him and both my parents. He listened and asked all kinds of questions,to make sure he coved all ends. I really liked that about him. When my parents arrived to the office he had all his previous files in hand and was ready to do his job. I've been to a few different lawyers as far a san fransisco and San Jose and by far this is the best office we have been too. We didn't get the feeling that he was going to say whatever you wanted to here just to gain a cliant and gain that fee. He was honest and very helpful. I would definitely recommend that you give him a call and meet with him in person you definitely won't regret his work.
